...and this one is free. Learn about the train systems in the Civil war era.....and how Lincoln arrived in Gettysburg for his famous address. Excellent models....The museum docent was very knowledgeable. About an hour if you read a lot of the exhibit panels.

Unfortunately the train station was closed the day we went but I still believe it was worth the few steps from the Wills house to visit. To know you were literally walking in the footsteps of Lincoln! Will have to return when it is open (the only reason it didn't get higher was cause I couldn't see it all).

Worth the quick stop, especially after a yummy breakfast at the Lincoln Diner. The railroad is where you can begin to travel the footsteps of history in the shadow of Abraham Lincoln's journey as he prepared to visit the besieged town of Gettysburg. Worth the quick stop!

While it's not a big museum, it's worth the visit. Staff is helpful & they can answer any questions you may have regarding your Gettysburg visit.

It is a nice place to visit. It is amazing how the trains ran years ago, it is a beautiful place. It is neat to see all the old things they used to run a train.

This is a free attraction. It is the train station where Lincoln arrived to give his Gettysburg address. The guide gives you some great background history on the station and how the town prepared for Lincolns' visit. They have a gift shop with a lot of train related items for children. Be sure to ask the guide about "Live long... More

A very interesting place to visit. We have visited several railroad museum's and this is one of our favorites. I highly recommend this museum of yesterday ole'. It takes you back in time and a lot of Gettysburg history too.

I stopped by to get in out of the sun for a few minutes. Not much to see but it was free so I looked around which only took about 3 minutes. Can't go wrong for the price.

We only had a half hour for our visit and wish we could have spent a bit more time. Well worth stopping if you're in downtown Gettysburg
