We came over the New Years holiday and found this tour to be very interesting and accommodating. Lots of fascinating stories and details about the battle of Gettysburg and also about lot of other early American history. Lincoln speech location was really quite moving experience for us.

The guy who drove our bus was wearing 1950's-styled saddle shoes so you know he's pretty cool old school. He added so much to the regular tour and we loved the trip. Wish we could have stopped at Devil's Den, but the bus didn't stop there.

I took the tour of the battlefield on one of the Yellowstone buses these people offer and it was a very good and enjoyable trip. The whole thing focused on the most interesting Civil War battle and the most important battle. It also took in a lot of the little town of Gettysburg and stories about the people living there... I took my husband to Gettysburg for a weekend get-a-way and we took this tour on one of the modern buses (this was in November). It was very interesting and worth every penny, The man who led our tour was a local person (Wes I think) and he was a delight.

The tour we had was one of the very best we've had anywhere. Very well presented and interesting for us "newcomers" to civil war history. They encouraged me to post a review and so I have -- I'm also a newcomer to tripadvisor but it looks like something that I'll enjoy.

We didn't know anything about the battlefield of gettysburg and were looking for a good explanation of what happened there. This was really terrific and now we're hooked on learning more. Great tour lasted about three hours.

We were walking down the street in Gettysburg and saw this really cool old-fashioned bus going along with a bunch of people on board. Turns out the bus was just starting out on a tour of the battlfield and their phone number was on the back of the bus. We called and signed up for the next tour. It was... More

Pickett had a very bad day at the Great Battle of Gettysburg, but that was 150 years ago and I think he's over it by now. Even he would have to appreciate how his story is told on this tour because it's really well done. General Meade would like it even more!

While our tour guide was enthusiastic and clearly knowledgeable, he spoke really fast and did not tailor the tour to meet the needs of our children (ages 9-12). They were not running the children's tour that day and we were told this would suit our needs. I'd look for something else for children and teens
