Description:

Featuring The area's only complete wax collection of American Presidents...

Featuring The area's only complete wax collection of American Presidents and their first ladies as well as a beautiful gift shop. The Hall of Presidents is located across the street from the Gettysburg Tour Center and next to the main entrance of the National Cemetery. It is incredible to be able to see what our Presidents really looked like and to hear the words attributed to them as if the words came from the very lips of the figures themselves. The Hall of First Ladies present authentic 1/3 size reproductions of the First Ladies in their inaugural gowns.

Let me first say that is you are looking for anything similar to Disney's hall of presidents this is not the same thing. While this tour is very informative the lack of movement from the wax statues and the quick recordings about each of them was a little let down....However, I still enjoyed this museum very much as I took... In order, was figures and they have a recording about each as you go. I found it very interesting. You go at your own pace.

The kids enjoyed this museum, being able to see all the presidents through the years helped them understand history a lot. They loved being able to take a photo with the president from the year they were born and see who was president when their parents were born too. They wished they had a brochure or something with a list... More

This is perfect for a family that is looking for an educational trip. Rose in front was very helpful, kind and knowledgeable about the area. This is a child friendly tour and very affordable.

Gave just enough highlights of each President and then your own walk-thru of the wives. It was interesting and we liked it. I would recommend it. Depending on how much time you take with your own pace looking at the wives, it's a little over an hour.

I wanted to love this. I loved the idea. I enjoyed the trip through time. But while I can't really judge a wax portrayal of James K. Polk, I sure as heck can tell that the Presidents from my lifetime were inaccurate. Really inaccurate. Like the waiter at Gettysburg Eddie's looked more like this wax Obama than the real Obama... My 9yo daughter who is a history buff got bored - too long for her and too many facts for her to absorb. I liked it even though some areas needed a scrub. Was interesting to hear the more recent presidents' real voices. Worthwhile if you have the time, but I wouldn't recommend prioritizing this over other activities.
