This park is so well cared for and such a huge historical landmark. I wish every American could visit and realize the sacrifices so many made. The state memorials are spectacular as well. It is so much bigger than I ever imagined. I highly recommend...More

If it's your first time visiting I definitely recommend a tour. We've had a tour with George Newton twice now and both times it was wonderful!

We drove the National Park on 3 different days and spent about 4 hours each time. The monuments are works of art and the history and battlefields are very thought provoking.

I'm not sure how much the CDs are but you can download an app to your smartphone for $9.99. There's also a pretty detailed map you can follow which doesn't cost a thing.
