The Battle of Gettysburg was a turning point in the Civil War, the Union victory that ended General Robert E. Lee's second and most ambitious invasion of the North. Often referred to as the "High Water Mark of the Rebellion", Gettysburg was the Civil War's bloodiest battle and was also the inspiration for President Abraham Lincoln's immortal "Gettysburg Address".

What a fabulous place! We drove around the battleground and then visited the museum. The film was outstanding and the 360 painting was breathtaking! Visit!

We really enjoyed the driving tour. Signage is clear and helpful. Monuments are beautiful and a wonderful way to honor and remember those who fought for our freedoms.

The best time to visit anywhere is off season or when it’s cold. It was cold that day. The visitors center is beautiful and, on this visit, empty, which was perfect. We did not get tickets to the Eisenhower Farm, which was a mistake, and...More

Dropped by the park in January 2018 on a cold but clear day. Although there was a lecture on this Saturday, the visitors center was mostly empty. Got a nice picture of a hawk in the sky, framed by the statue of Brigadier General Gouverneur...More

you receive discounts on those ticket prices if you're a senior and a member of the armed forces. Also I believe veterans. the pass you speak of is more for access fees like the fees to enter example petersburg.
