While taking in a few other local sites, we decided to take a few minutes an just walk in real quick. Nothing quick about our visit. We walked around an thoroughly enjoyed every area of this Cathedral. Everything was just so beautiful. Would definitely suggest stopping in, even if just for a few minutes.

The occasion we visited is unforgettable. The Tallis Scholars were singing and four of us friends listened spellbound. The cold night outside seemed unreal and the only reality the beautiful sounds of the singing.

We attended Sunday mass at the Basilica in December and returned later in the day for the Christmas concert. It was incredible - the surroundings, the music, the voices - this is a Christmas concert that shouldn't be missed. Hope to catch it next year as well.

Very impressive gem of a cathedral in downtown Phila. Before running around Europe to see famous churches, stop by here. The only downside is that the church clearly needs a paint job.

This Cathedral is beautiful with its beautiful statues and the chair that the pope sat on when he visited, made by someone for his visit. The pulpit and paintings are amazing.

We stopped in for a quick visit as we love churches, usually lighting a candle in sanctuaries around the world. We stopped in on Sunday, between Masses and were welcomed by friendly parishioners with smiling faces. Thank you.
