Super helpful staff, every single one of them. So friendly and patient to a lone traveller. A lot of other stations could learn a lot from these guys.

Trains are not always on time and so I found myself having to wait for almost an hour. It was a cold day and I decided to stay inside. I had always admired the Cira Center near 30th Street Station, one of the first modern...More

This place has it all. Nice layout, easy to find where you need to go. Great food court at reasonable prices. The red cap baggage is the way to go.

I've taken the Amtrak train in other locations but never during the winter months. It was a frigid day and though check in was a breeze, delays had many customers sitting around. Because of the set up unfortunately it was cold and little comfort from...More

When transportation was grand and commercial buildings, like banks were built to impress and inspire, 30th Street Station remains a wonderful example of confident public architecture. Even with the addition of advertising banners in the main waiting area (probably a necessity to maintain this space)...More

I recently traveled out of 30th St station to NYC. Station is historic and beautiful and well secured and maintained. It is a pleasant part of my travel to take a train from this destination.

The station is open all night. Late trains arrive at midnight or so, and the earliest morning train is probably about 4:30 AM or so (Northeast Regional to DC?).
