A beautiful and historic building

You don't mind catching a train in this historic building with high ceilings. There is a small food court area of the beaten path too.

Having come out of Penn Station, which is bad, and Boston, which is horrible, 38th St. Station is a breath of fresh air. Nice and clean with helpful friendly people. Felt very welcomed to Philly.

The building is just beautiful. Both AMTRAK and local SEPTA trains depart from this station but from different areas. Staff is helpful. Bathrooms are clean. We would prefer way less fast-food-junk-food options and maybe a nice restaurant or two. the smell from cinnamon is pervasive....and unappealing.

In terms of function you get New Jersey Transit Trains to Atlantic City, Amtrak trains to New York, Boston, Springfield, Miami, Chicago and Harrisburg. I love absolutely love this place. Live in jersey, and travel to philly often. Sometimes well take the train. Its located in a great part of the city, and this place gets 5 stars on architecture alone

Lots of places to eat, bright and airy, good signage, telling you where to go, lots of benches, and moving "billboards" to look at, if you wish, while waiting to catch a train. I saw lots of surveillance cameras, which gave me piece of mind. From this station, one may catch Amtrak or regional rail.

30th Street is a classic station with attractive architecture and lots of space. The memorial for railroad employees who gave their lives during WW2 is very moving and a great reminder to take a breath when rushing in or out of the station. Many of the windows are under renovation and are covered, but you have a decent choice of... More

Passed through this looking for my bus stop and it took my breath away. I wasn't expecting such a stunning building in the middle of this busy traffic intersection. It's quite something.
