The Arboretum is a real family place -- lots of gardens, plants and trees to see, but also a "walk in the sky" construction for kids of all ages. Our friend cannot walk very well so we took a wheelchair (available at the gift shop) along just in case. We only made it a couple of hundred yards down to... More

There's something about taking a leisurely walk surrounded by woods and trees and flowers and bushes--in other words, surrounded by nature. This is not a place to hurry along. If there was ever a place to stop and smell the roses, this is it!

It's a beautiful place to visit any time of the year. They have very nice collection of different plants, from roses to trees. Very expansive grounds, so it takes a few hours to see and enjoy everything they have to offer. Just a gorgeous place!

Beautiful area for a stroll. Winter or summer, the landscape changes. It is always quiet and serene ther. It is a good place to gather your thoughts or, in the spring, look at the flowers.

The Morris Arboretum is outside the normal visitor destinations for Philadelphia, but if you have the time and desire to sit among trees that were planted for appeal and study, find your way to the Morris Arboretum. Among the acres of trees, shrubs, flowers, and sculpture, you will enjoy a quiet and relaxing day. Take a book or read the... More

Beautiful venue for a wedding in May as long as it doesn't rain. It was a perfect day and a little walk to where the ceremony was. The couple walked down the grassed aisle and said their vow in front of an urn on stairs. The dinner was under cover, catering was awesome and you can provide your own liquor.... More

First time back in about 40 years. Now I'm going to go every season, even on a hot day like today,There was a breeze in the air, the smell of the flowers lightened up your nostrils, the trails were well marked and the minature trains were running. It was a relaxing, invigorating day.

Even though I've lived in the area for a few decades, this was my first time visiting. I can only saw that I should have gone many years ago. I was struck by how friendly the staff were; it's rare to run into people on a hottish day enjoying their jobs. The grounds were lovely. I especially like that there... More

This place is really stunningly beautiful, especially in the spring time when everything is in bloom. The variety of blooms is incredible, and you can find every color of the rainbow. I adored this place. My complaint is that no matter where in the arboretum we walked, there were noisy weed whackers or lawn mowers souring the experience. The arboretum... More

This Arboretum is all about Nature. It was a great day to be outdoors the day before yesterday, so we came here to relax and commune with that nature. There were only about 40 or 50 people in this 90+ acre garden when we visited. So, we felt like we were strolling by ourselves in our private zen garden. It... More
