Well! for the cost of a well deserved donation, you can TRY ON mummer costumes, see some of the awards and award winners UP CLOSE, learn a bit about how they are constructed, listen to some mummer music,and read (and see photos) of history of...More

They had many insturments from over time, several interactive displays a tryon section for costumes. Hall of Fame is there as well

This place is ALL Philadelphia, No other place in the world has a Mummers Museum. The 100+ year Philadelphia tradition is one of a kind, The best Parade in all of the US of A. The oldest Folk Parade in America has it's own Museum....More

You're better off looking on the internet for the history and costumes than taking the time to go to this dirty and dusty museum. Yes, the costumes are outlandish up close, but it's just weird....

This is a great way to learn a little bit about the history of one of Philadelphia most unique traditions -- Mummers. Lots of customs and props on display, and you can't beat free.

My friend has always wanted to go as he really likes the Mummers. We got a personal tour of the exhibit and was amazed to learn so much about the history. It was cool to see the costumes up close. Very nice for relaxing visit!
