Our guide, Jabar, did a great job. Dressed in period clothing and carrying a lantern he led us around the Independence Hall area of Philadelphia. Telling us many stories of haunted locations throughout. We went just this past Friday night, Veteran's Day. I only wish it were not quite so cold or windy, but that is beyond the tour's control.... Good historical tour with history of hauntings in the area. Several tour guides were available. Our guide was great. Children would probably be bored on the tour as it is a lot of listening to history but for adults it was very interesting.

I was skeptical at first but really enjoyed the tour. Our guide was excellent and made the tour. A lot of Philadelphia history with stories of spirits. We have lived in Philadelphia most of ours lives and never knew about most of the stops. It made us realize we need to do some tours during the day as well. For... More

As is the case with most "ghost tours," this one provides you with a lot of history, some spookiness, and a good deal of fun.

I was expecting a real ghost tour on a full moon night, but it was a historical one about Philadelphia's past combined with ghost stories. The guides, a man and a woman did a nice job despite the heat and the noise in the streets.

I thought it was ok. My wife thought some of the stories were contrived. Information was delivered but not in a very entertaining way (which improves these, in my opinion). If you're just looking for some possible stories, this is fine. If you want to be entertained with some good ghost stories, then pass on this.

I'm a fan of ghost stories and was looking forward to this tour. Sadly it did not match up to my expectations. We are a family of three and were part of a large group which included six children under the age of ten years old. They were bored by the second story and kept wandering off which was very... More

My husband and I did the Grim ghost tour 4 years ago, and thought it was great!! We were back in Philly last week with our kids and extended family so we decided to try this tour. (The Grim one isn't for children.) Our tour guide was nice enough, but very long winded and rather boring. We only stopped did... More

I'm surprised by the one star ratings. I don't think they're fair or objective. One star should be god-awful and this tour is actually pretty enjoyable. It's not for everyone though. If you're looking for something super scary or an all-access experience, this is not for you. However if you want to stretch your legs and like to hear about... More

This is more of a grim historical tour than ghost tour but it is very interesting. Our guide was a great storyteller and came dressed in period costume carrying his lantern. He engaged the whole group including some children. You learn a lot about the area and hear some spooky stories. We had the Philadelphia Pass and you must go... More
