Our tour guide made this ghost tour great. I think his name was Javar? He added dramatics to his story telling. The period costume adds a nice touch. He added a level of spookiness to the stories that had many in our tour group very...More

The tour guide was nice but not a particularly gifted story teller; the stories could probably use a bit of work in terms of humor or pacing or both. I found my attention lagging as some of the stories took a bit longer than they...More

My Niece & Daughter wanted to take the tour being that this was around Valentine's Day. My being a Psychic Medium was going for the energy & spirits of course..to which I was sensing prior to going to the tour. I am a native of...More

Our guide made the ghost tour very enjoyable. He had a lot of knowledge of the history of Philadelphia. We had a large group on the tour and he entertained everyone. The tour went on just over an hour and we walked several blocks.

Our guide, Jabar, did a great job. Dressed in period clothing and carrying a lantern he led us around the Independence Hall area of Philadelphia. Telling us many stories of haunted locations throughout. We went just this past Friday night, Veteran's Day. I only wish...More

Good historical tour with history of hauntings in the area. Several tour guides were available. Our guide was great. Children would probably be bored on the tour as it is a lot of listening to history but for adults it was very interesting.

I was skeptical at first but really enjoyed the tour. Our guide was excellent and made the tour. A lot of Philadelphia history with stories of spirits. We have lived in Philadelphia most of ours lives and never knew about most of the stops. It...More

As is the case with most "ghost tours," this one provides you with a lot of history, some spookiness, and a good deal of fun.

I was expecting a real ghost tour on a full moon night, but it was a historical one about Philadelphia's past combined with ghost stories. The guides, a man and a woman did a nice job despite the heat and the noise in the streets.

I thought it was ok. My wife thought some of the stories were contrived. Information was delivered but not in a very entertaining way (which improves these, in my opinion). If you're just looking for some possible stories, this is fine. If you want to...More

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
Has anyone tried booking this tour online and it be declined because apparently your address doesn't match some random banks records? This happened to me yesterday. The error came up saying I had entered my address incorrectly and it did not match AVS(??) system so I altered the address and tried again, same error came up. I check my bank and they have charged me twice even though the website has not confirmed I am booked into the tour. I called Ghost Tour Philly and they told me that my booking was declined and no payment has been taken when in fact, the payment has been taken twice! The company would not accept the fact that I have been charged. Now I'm going to have to dispute the charges through my bank to try and get a refund... so annoying!!

Hello Sairs, I would contact them again with proof it was taken out of your account with the bank. I usually pay online for tickets and always receive confirmation. Use this number when you deal with them again. Also, with... More
