This was our third 'free tour by foot' in the country and the best and in a great deal due to our guide - Joseph. A lot of history but also fun facts and trivia. A must do in Philly.

We took the 4.5 hour real philly tour with Joseph. He was engaging and knowledgeable. It was a great way to be introduced to the city of Philadelphia and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

I joined the 4.5 hour 'Real Philly' led by Joseph - it was a last minute decision and turned out to be an excellent one. We stopped at a mix of founding father history sites and contemporary sites - Joseph's commentary was a mix of...More

Philly is the oldest city in America, everything started there and it’s no surprise there are tons of historical treasures you do want to check off your bucket list. However it is surprising how hard it might be to find them if not for this...More

We took the Real Philadelphia tour with Joseph on Saturday. The 4.5 hr walk around the city went very quickly with the stop at Italian market for lunch. Very informative and good route. Joseph is obviously very passionate and it really showed. Would recommend to...More

To be honest the stated 4½ hour duration of the tour didn’t really register when we booked it – the longest walking tour I’ve ever been on was 3 hours, so we thought the 4½ hours might be a misprint or something. But it wasn’t!...More

Tour was a tiny group (5) so maneuvering was easy. It was a dreary day in Philadelphia but the quality of the tour brightened up things. Marianne gave a nice overview of the significant areas of Old City and how it has been repopulated after...More

My friends and I️ had a blast with Jenn. Her tour was very informative and delicious. We were grateful to learn about a part of Philadelphia’s history that is maybe not that well known. The food was amazing, a little bit of everything that Chinatown...More

We loved the walking tour with Marianne! She is very knowledgeable and we ended up loving Ben Franklin as much as she does!

As others stated, it's free, with the option to tip. Unless you hated it and quit before the end, you should tip the guide. My suggestion would be at least $10/person, up to $40 or so.

We had private tours with the company and were very pleased! Our two-three hour private tours were a little over $200. Well worth it! Some in our group also tipped the guides.
