I see a lot of reviews saying you can stand on the street, and snap a picture through the gate, which is true, if that's all you want. I am not a Ben Franklin enthusiast, but it was worth it to me, to pay the couple bucks they ask to help restore the cemetary, to go in for a better... More

I have seen this several times. The ironic thing is people toss money on his grave. Ben used to say" A penny saved is a penny earned" The good news is the cemetery is using g the money to restore the grave.

Part of the American history. Worth passing by for that reason. You can take a picture from outside the gate and to the next independence attraction.

You will be asked for a donation , they even offer tours for a bit higher contribution. Whats sweet, you dont need to go into the courtyard, rather take photos from Arch St at no cost,

On a cold day, Benjamin Franklin’s grave on Christ Church Burial Ground looks forlorn. Visitors who usually flock to the site and, for “good luck,” toss modest coins onto the grave have turned their attention elsewhere. Maybe this is a good time to remember Franklin (1706-1790) not only as one of the Founding Fathers of America, but also as Franklin,... More

What can I say more about the guy.. I like him better than George Washington. Show he some respect people. He did it all for America. You dont need to pay the $2 to go in and see the grave. You can see it from the sidewalk.. Many people toss coins on to it .. It's very close to the... More

We did not pay the entry fee. There is a gate you can see thru and read about Ben on signage from the street. Interesting that he, his wife, and son are buried there.

There are times it's difficult to wrap your head around what you're seeing. That's how I felt standing at the foot of Benjamin Franklin's grave. This man was a guiding force of our nation's birth. His contributions to government, science, and culture are legendary. Knowing this was his final resting place was humbling and awe-inspiring. You can see his grave... More

Ben Franklin remains the most accessible of the Founding Fathers (actually, as a grandfather at the time). Since 1858, his grave has been visible via a metal fence in the cemetery wall that was rebuilt in the 1920s. While one might not linger too longer, it is a strong connection with history.
