The kids really enjoyed this museum - very interactive and lots of activities for the kids to enjoy. Parking is usually crowded, would recommend public transportation if possible.

Just know that there are several parts that are free for you to go into. However, there are some portions you need to buy the wristband for. There is also an imax theatre there with different educational movies. They have a life size walk through heart. I don't recommend for people who are claustrophobic. It was neat though! We went... This is great for all locations. Good for about 3-4 hours of many diverse, interactive activities for all ages. Great for our 10 year old and her parents had fun too. Cafeteria has some of the best, freshest options of any of this type of venue we have been to.

I took my daughter who is 18 and my 7 year old granddaughter. They both had a blast. Lots of interesting hands on things. They particularly like the brain and the planetarium. Every day my granddaughter asked to go back. A must see.

I"m not sure if Jurassic World exhibition will ever come back to the Franklin Institute but I'm hoping if they do, they will come back with some improvements. The room you enter after the introduction had me confused, because it gets all suspenseful, and they tell you to stay away from the bars, and it gets dark, and you get... More

We had a good time at the museum. The building is beautiful and well taken care of. The building and restrooms were clean and well maintained. All the staff we ran into were courteous and helpful. The exhibits were nice, however there were multiple activities within each exhibit that were broken or 'temporarily removed'. I understand things happen, it just... More

The Franklin Institute is always a great stop for both kids and adults, there is so much to enjoy. There are old favorites, like a tour of the heart exhibit as well as new and changing exhibits over the year. The planetarium is a must see!

Incredible place for students to visit, obviously family too. Visited a couple of historic sites and ended the day in this huge facility. Built just like Mr. Franklin would have liked. Tons of neat exhibits, inventions, flight simulator, friendly & hands on staff to explain things to students. Very clean cannot say enough. This will be a tradition for our... More
