The zoo may not be very big but it is clean and they have a kids area. Parking can be tricky on the weekends do to a lot of visitors but is well marked.

This is a great zoo, just right for a day visit. I really love the walkways over the roads for the animals. Highly recommended family day trip when in Philadelphia.

One of the most organized zoo I've been to in a while. Movement is mandatory to view so be on foot, carry energy drinks, put on running shoes.

Very large zoo so get ready to do lots of walking. You can buy food and peanuts to feed animals.So many good exhibits. Love the big cats and polar bears also the monkeys. It's an all day trip but it's really good.

Yes. There are quite a few misting stations throughout the Zoo. I saw at least four today (16 July 2017).

Very sorry for the delayed response. We spent about 2-3 hours at the zoo, including a lunch. We traveled with a three-year-old. Hope this helps.
