This street that flows through the City includes large and small retail outlets near to the centre, but then, moving towards the River, completely changes character and passes many of the historic sights. Stroll it on a sunny days and enjoy the variety.

One of Philadelphia's most elegant streets. Some very grand buildings along here. Right in the middle of Center City, shopping and strolling, plus some fancy restaurants.

A nice and popular (for Philly standards) street with history, shopping, restaurants, and more. For travelers, this should and will be one of your popular walks while visiting Philadelphia.

Chestnut Street was filled with charm from the old buildings to the many stores. We stayed at the Ronald McDonald House on Chestnut Street which was an amazing place on it's own. The history this street could tell.

There are several " bar-restaurants" that serve food until closing. Traditional restaurants in the area close the kitchens at 10pm.
