This museum is compelling -- from its architecture and interior design through its clearly presented exhibits. Definitely worth the time to explore -- whether you're Jewish or not.

First time visiting the museum. The guided tour was excellent and really enjoyed the educational experience. I would be interested in an exhibit that explored Jewish immigrants who came to the U.S. from the Middle East-Mizrachim.

You don't have to be Jewish to appreciate the immigrant history to the US but this museum traces that history for Jews coming from many parts of the world to many different destinations in the US, not just in Philadelphia.

We visited this museum to see the 1917 exhibit before it closed. The exhibit is very old-school: lots of reading and very little explanation about what you are looking at. Additionally, there were no docents in the exhibit to help with navigation or questions. The...More

Four floors of Jewish history. Enjoyed the exhibit on the top floor concerning setting up the Jewish state in 1917. Museum is somewhat overwhelming and after two floors decided to leave and maybe go back the next day.
