The museum is 4 floors of information. Comprehensive information from an original George Washington letter in Newport, RI, through the holocaust, immigration, establishment of Israel and current. We went on the free 1 hour guided tour and the guide was full of additional information. There...More
Thank you for visiting! Great to hear you enjoyed your free guided tour.
This museum is compelling -- from its architecture and interior design through its clearly presented exhibits. Definitely worth the time to explore -- whether you're Jewish or not.
The National Museum of American Jewish History was an amazing, enlightening and emotional journey through 360 years of the Jewish presence in America, up to and including the present day. The museum consists of five floors; the staff suggests that you begin on the fifth...More

This is a great addition to the most historical one mile in the nation. A must see with history from the Jewish Americans. See important artifacts from Albert Einstein. First floor is free. Top floor has a great view of the city skyline. This place...More

I kept hearing about this museum and finally decided to visit. So glad we went! This is a five-story museum; you start on the top floor and work your way down. The 5th floor hosts their rotating special exhibits. The docent here was very helpful...More
Sounds like a fun visit! Thanks for spending the day with us. We're delighted you were able to visit multiple floors and the gift shop...Can't wait to welcome you back!
You don't have to be Jewish to appreciate the immigrant history to the US but this museum traces that history for Jews coming from many parts of the world to many different destinations in the US, not just in Philadelphia.
We're glad you enjoyed the scope of the Museum! Hope you can visit again soon.

Barry, Thanks for sharing your review as we are always interested in our visitors' feedback and opinions about our exhibitions. We appreciate you coming to visit.
Four floors of Jewish history. Enjoyed the exhibit on the top floor concerning setting up the Jewish state in 1917. Museum is somewhat overwhelming and after two floors decided to leave and maybe go back the next day.
Glad to hear you're interested in taking advantage of our 2-day ticket offering! Hope you had a chance to come back the next day.
