Carolyn, the guide, was great! She shared a lot of great information about the terminal, about local food (and people). You can tell she is passionate about place-identity foods and she shares that passion with those on her tour. She did a great job of...More

Good tour, you sample a lot and learn a lot historically about philly. The portion sizes are more of a sample (but you go to try 7 things). Good way to spend a few hours.

After growing up in the Philadelphia area enjoying the eats here on occasion this tour was delightfully informative! Carolyn was knowledgable and kept our attention. She led us outside for the first part of the tour then back inside to see the area where the...More

Our guide Carolyn (the owner I think) arrived right on time. She commenced by giving us a bit of background information on herself. She is a food writer and obviously has a love for Philadelphia and it's past and future food scene. We quickly started...More

This was a very disappointing food tour. We did learn interesting facts about the Reading Terminal Market but we were given a SPOON to all take a sample from - two small turtle soup containers, two ice cream dishes, two pieces of scrapple, etc. There...More

Sorry you found our tour disappointing compared to Chew. But Chew charges $59, more than three times my ticket price. Are the samples on this tour fewer/smaller? Yes, obviously. Our website actually recommends what you suggest: Eating a meal in the Market after our tour,...More

I highly recommend this tour because there is so much to try but you don't know where to begin. This tour gets you started on your Philly experience (like how to order cheesesteak and restaurants to try. We sampled turtle soup, butter cake, peanut chews,...More

The Reading Market Tour was great! Not only did we sample some things I would not have otherwise tasted (turtle soup!), but we also learned about how it used to have a train station upstairs and saw that area and mural. And here I thought...More

What is the difference between this tour and the tour that I believe is offered by the Reading Terminal market? How long is this tour? I would be bringing three granddaughters ages 14, 13, 11 and wonder if they would find this interesting. Do you have a tour guide that would relate well to this younger group?
