The Independence Visitor Center is the gateway to America's Most Historic Square Mile. Located in the heart of Independence National Historical Park, the official Visitor Center of the region is the exclusive location to pick up free-timed tickets to tour Independence Hall. The Independence Visitor Center also provides visitor services and amenities, including a multilingual staff fluent in nine languages, on-site ticketing to more than 60 area attractions and tours, free regional maps and brochures, comprehensive daily event listings, and free informative historical films and wireless internet access. The Visitor Center is also the primary point of orientation for the City of Philadelphia, the Southern New Jersey and Delaware River Waterfronts, as well as Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania.

Didn’t go into things they offered we just stood and read.i think we went there to get tickets to independence hall,but started reading the walls was interesting..till I saw obama on the wall..

The staff are very knowledgeable of various tours in the city of Philadelphia. The bathroom were upgraded which was definitely needed. At this time, the entire facility is being expanded. The center is scheduled to be completed this year. Inside of the center are benches....More

Spoke to two people seeking advice and felt like I was interrupting their conversations with one another. Place needs a thorough cleaning and some management. Not impressed in the least. Just not much there.

Great place to have fun,Big gift shop.Alongside there are sings and informations where you should stop and learn something while you are there.If able get a tour,much more fun with it.
