The Academy of Music is such a beautiful building, and you're almost always guaranteed a great show there. It has beautiful ambiance and grandeur about it. We saw the Mel Brooks show there and it was great!

My wife and I attended a performance of The Marriage of Figaro here. This is an opulent venue. Crystal chandeliers and gilded decorative elements abound. We were seated in the balcony and had a clear view. The seats were comfortable and arranged so that the...More

Academy of Music is a gracious, classic theater from days gone past. We've seen many great shows here and the venue is half the experience. The seats are comfortable as theaters go. The line at the womens room is typically long... as theaters go. There...More

Saw the current stage production of the Bodyguard. Went in not expecting the very best; walked out in total awe. Fantastic performance. The entire audience was on their feet cheering. AWESOME! If you can get tickets, do it!

Choose any opera and set your course for an experience without parallel. Peerless talent and worldly charm from historic Philadelphia. No need to just go to NYC when the Academy can instill your senses with a Renaissance experience. Parking within a 3 minute walk us...More

The theater is ornate, gilded and a great place to see and hear a show. Acoustics are great, and the place is just beautiful. Worth looking at even if you aren't going to a show.

Hello JakieR, It definitely will be a problem to find any parking if not in a garage. Besides the Kimmel Center garage there are a few others in the area, I don't know if you've checked those as well; however if you cannot... More
