Visited the market on Sunday, although it was too crowded and too noisy. Not that clean and difficult to find a table when grab something to eat. Nevertheless it worths visiting to find tasty products and live that intense atmosphere full of smells and colors!

Take an hour or two for this place! So great! We ate and took home all kinds of pastries, breads, and candy. Be sure to take your parking garage ticket for validation to get a discount.

If you are in Philadelphia, make sure you visit this icon! It's within walking distance from the Independence Hall area. Go for lunch, a snack, a cookie, a soft pretzel, a beer or to people watch. Just GO!

Traditional market mostly reconverted to bars and food premises. All type of offers. Asian, Mexican, Middle Eastern, American, and specifically Philadelphian, etc. All offers are tasty and good. No doubt, typical Philadelphian cheesesteak to try.

Add this to your itinerary. You need not spend long but it is a great way to glimpse the very different sides of Philadelphia through food!

We visited on a Sunday morning and it was quite crowded. There are a lot of food choices, bakeries, and cute shops. With it being a tourist location, the prices show it. My husband spent almost $4 on a cookie and it was average size....More

If you are looking for a traditional breakfast menu there is DOWN HOME DINER. Besides that, many of the places are open on Sundays which offer less traditional, classic foods of their cultures. Also, bakeries have fresh... More
