Lots of incredible stands and foods. Make sure you're hungry because you'll want to have your meal there, then you'll want to pick up dessert for later. Easy 2-3 hour activity. Hint: Parking in the lot just in front of Reading Terminal is just $4 for 2 hours with a $10 purchase.

Although a wide variety of food options mostly at low-cost and quite tasty, the crowds can be overbearing and the place tends to look trashy. Limited hours breakfast and lunch only. If you happen to be able to visit during a non-peak time such as late afternoon or winter not a bad experience.

This place is a must if you are ever in Philadelphia. There is just about everything there that you would want to eat. You definitely want to take a walk around here and just grab whatever looks good. I recommend some donuts, Tommy DiNic's, and maybe some beef jerky.

I was in down for a work event and walked here from my hotel for breakfast and was super impressed. I've been to many big city markets like this that were "meh" at best but this one is awesome. I ate at Down Home Diner which was delicious then walked around to the various vendors and was surprised by the... More

Loved this place. Not only was snowing outside :) the food options are great. From phily cheesesteak to pork sandwiches to big queues on the donuts area :)

The Reading Terminal is one of Philadelphia's gems, like the Pike Place Market is to Seattle. It is a huge indoor space of vendors and eateries. It is a foodie's paradise. Loads of fresh produce, butchers, seafood mongers, fresh flowers, bakeries... and eateries serving up everything you can imagine from the quintessential Philly cheesesteak to NY Jewish style pastrami. Whatever... More

We've never been to a city market before and my daughter and I were blown away by it. It was a feast for the the senses, for sure.

Loved this market. There were many stores that had a variety of things from fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats. Also shops that had sweets and ethnic foods (Chinese, Cajun, Italian, etc...). Little souvenirs shop as well.

Reading Terminal was a recommended stop on our trip through Philly. It is very convenient to the Courtyard Marriott Downtown. Similar to many food markets, there are so many options. Here's my quick summary of our visit. Dincis - the roast pork sandwich - abundant..but meh. For desert, grab a cookie at The Olde Cookie Company or tiramisu from Fermini... More

Wow - multisensory wonderland for the foodie, from donuts to Cajun to sausage to grilled cheese, and more! If we lived here, we'd come every weekend!
