Great place to go with kids. If the ranger is there you will also get to feed the fish and learn about how CA repopulates trout in our local lakes.

We returned to see all the trout at the fish hatchery Its good to see. We enjoy trout fishing in the Eastern Sierras. Its fun for the entire family to visit this free to visit fish hatchery.

A nice stop on the way to (or back from) Convict lake from Mammoth lakes. You can see fish at various growth stages nicely segregated as shown in the pictures. For all ages!

We did not go to the hatchery because we were told it's closed. We did continue down the road to see Hot Creek pools, which definitely is worth seeing.
