We live in Bethlehem, but a trip downtown is always a treat when we go into the magical Moravian bookstore. Bookstore is a misnomer for this unique gift store that takes up half a block. It does have a great selection of books but my favorite things to look through and purchase are the many Bethlehem and Moravian stars. We... More

I thoroughly enjoy visiting Bethlehem and the Book Shop is a landmark to me. It's Christmas all year round and the selection of stars and home decor is always amazing to see. The prices are reasonable and the staff is attentive as well.

Terrific bookstore, and a rare independent one, and they will order any book for you. Also, a clothing shop, really nice lunch restaurant, and all kinds of food & clothing gift items. A huge Christmas shop is part of the place for those who like that stuff. Very friendly store.

Visited this bookstore because of its history. Although there was not much historical information, it was nice to spend time browsing through "real" books. The bookstore was just a small part of what seemed to be mostly a gift shop. A nice stop if you are in the area, but wouldn't make a special trip. .

I've been going here since I first moved to Bethlehem as a teen in 1998 and this book Shop as to be my favorite place to go. It's not just a book Shop it's has Christmas ornaments, toys, chocolates and so much more!

I can't say enough about this it was just wonderful! You get a great shopping experience, whether you are a booklover or not! There is a coffee/wine bar inside, and a chocolate counter. It was all around wonderful!

Staff is super friendly and helpful, but books only occupy a portion of this store - not even half. Good local book selection but rest of inventory is small and not in depth. Sort of reminds me of a higher end souvenir store. The stuff is nice I guess, but again, I like books.....

What started as a bookstore (when books were chiseled on stone tablets, I think!) now has a little bit of everything. Books, food, and even mead! A cool place to browse through on a street with lots of other places to shop & eat
