The museum is housed in 100 year old building that began life as a Packard dealership and for 100 years has apparently always been used for something automotive related. The collection is excellent and I would assume changes based on what's on loan. When we were there, in addition to the classic 30's Packards, including a stunning yellow dual cowl... More

In town for Easter weekend with Grandparents, parents, and a teenager. Decided to check out the Packard Museum. Dan, the Executive Director, shared his enthusiasm and the history of the Packard. We appreciated him answering our questions and loved the music from that era. This was no ordinary museum!

I had been here before as a venue for a party but it had been awhile. We were invited to a wedding reception this past weekend and got yo enjoy the beautiful setting for a party and got to look at the many old Packard cars on display. It is a wonderful treasure that few people are aware of. The... More

If you like classic cars you will love the Packard Museum. It is filled with it's namesake cars and memorabilia from a bygone era. The museum is located in an unpretentious location and you might pass by it but you'll be glad if you don't.

Housed in an old original Packard dealership near downtown. Use the old showroom and service department to display a very comprehensive collection of cars and memorabilia. Cars are both owned by museum and loaners from private owners which means frequent display updates. Cars range from early 1900's through the '50s. Complete a full research library for serious Packard collectors. Docents... More

Great place to enjoy! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. There are two gallery rooms to see! Plenty to see to excite everyone in the group. We really enjoyed it and will most defiantly return. $6 entry fee = more than reasonable. Took about 2 hours for us, probably less for others sightseeing the museum.

Really cool vintage Packard Motorcar's. Did not know a place like this existed in Dayton and I had lived here my entire life. Probably one of the best collection of Packards in the country. Really interesting history. A must see if you are into vintage automobiles.

Visited last night with my business colleagues as a dinner venue. Excellent choice. Not just beautiful cars and real history. Like entering the golden age of the automobile. Knowledgeable host had the real stories of the machines and site. I need to come back with my family.

Grandma and Grandpa Rat had a 1955 Packard Caribbean Hardtop. We used head from Indy to Minocqua WI every summer in that bad boy. One of my fondest memories of the trip each summer was lying on the rear floor of the beast and looking up at the big blue sky. Imagine my delight today when I saw a 1955... More

The American Packard Museum is a must see if you are interested in older cars. My husband is and he really enjoyed his time there as he once owned a 1942 Packard clipper. Also we had a guided tour by Bill who made the experience so much better as he was so informative about the vehicles,we even got to see... More
