Farm life in the 1880s comes alive at Carriage Hill MetroPark. There are also acres of natural beauty to enjoy and a horseback riding center.

Carriage Hill Metro Park in Dayton Ohio is a great place for a picnic along the water while watching the ducks. School mist already be in session, different dates to Canada as there was a class touring the historic farm.

All the employees and volunteers at Carriage Hill are knowledgable and so very nice! The farm is well kept, safe, informative, and FREE. We had a great time this past weekend with our children and our parents. There was supposed to be a threshing demonstration,...More

My kids always enjoy a walk around carriage hill park and the farm house area. They usually always have activities on the weekends from making ice cream or lemon aid to canning or baking. Animals to pet walk over the bridge and hike the land...More

Would be very fun with kids... Great exhibits in visitors center as well. They have horse trails and walking trails. Some Trails you can take dogs on, some you can't. A fun stop if you're in the area.

A beautiful park with plenty "nature" to see, but the best part is the 1800's living history farm there - you get to see how they farmed way back when! Go check it out - totally fun and interesting!

I can see how this park/farm is a great resource for locals, but I wouldn't describe it as a must-see for travelers, especially if you've been to Williamsburg, VA or anything like it. The visitor's center has a small display of items from 19th century...More

This is the place to go back in time and just enjoy the farm and family. Check their schedule for seasonal events to have even more fun.
