We took the tram tour on Saturday morning and David was our guide. Very good tour for only $5 per person. David did a great job and took us Great overview of the town and well worth it. About 1-1/2 hrs long.

The Welcome Center was one of our first stops after we checked into the Goodbread House --I recommend Goodbread, especially if you travel with a pet. We found maps and helpful information about cafes, restaurants, shops and more.

The ladies here were so helpful. We were give. Free state driving maps and information on good local homemade cooking restaurants. There was also a Peach World stand in there advertising and giving out samples. We later stopped there. Very helpful and nice!!

It is an extremely small but cute welcome center. The woman working was really sweet and full of southern hospitality. She was helpful in telling my friend and I were to stay on our next visit.

The visitor center staff were very helpful to point out places of interest and provide a walking map. Visited two very old churches nearby. Both were well maintained and historical.
