Very pretty lake would be perfect for kayaking if you were starting out. Very clean and lots of runners on the running/hiking trail.

Such a great place to swim, picnic, fish, relax & unwind! There's a 3 mile paved trail around the small lake.

Went by veterans lake nice smaller lake. There is a nice pavilion area for picnic's. It was full on Saturday when we went. There were a few people kayaking. Think we will definitely check into doing that next time we are there.

Fishing isn't too shabby either. Try to find sunken brush under a dock of some kind (unless you have a boat).
