This is a tourist trap. It is also a great way to learn about Native American culture (particularly the Chickasaw) in a state of the art institution. There’s an iMAX theater and some great trails to explore. There’s even a cafe serving traditional Chickasaw foods...More

This is one of the best Native American museums I’ve ever seen - very modern and well maintained with good displays and actual artifacts and real life people demonstrating dance, sport, crafts, etc. Pretty good cafe too!

Well presented history of the Chickasaw people. Well maintained buildings and grounds. Had a couple of people in our group with walking issues but were given a ride in a golf cart down the hill to the reconstructed village and then back to the parking...More

Arrived mid morning in the autumn, on a week day and found the place quite, so we able to walk around the displays and watch the short film presentations in peace, they show a insight to life of the Chickasaw's history. Which for most parts...More

We began our visit by viewing a few of the films that explain the history and the grounds of the Chickasaw. The films were short, but quite interesting and helped with understanding the various exhibits, displays and activities that were going on. The films to...More

There are several aspects of the Chickasaw Cultural Center. Most things are free, except the actual museum - $7 per adult. As with the other Indian nations within Oklahoma, the Chickasaw Nation has progressed upward with the explosion of casinos in Oklahoma. With the proceeds,...More

This can vary so the best answer is to call ahead and get the schedule. They had told us a time of 2:30 and it changed quickly to an earlier time.
