The Ventura City Hall has a long history and is told throughout the building. Broad marble floors, stairs and baulistrades. Stunning views of Ventura and the ocean. Interesting murals telling the history of Ventura with art installations and revolving art exhibits. A must see.

I've taken the legal tour of Ventura presented by Mr. Senate, which includes history about Ventura's own Erle Stanley Gardner. The tour is informative and entertaining. The building in beautiful and a great city treasure.

This is a very nice building where you can get in and enjoy the marbled floors and the tinted windows. They have arts on display on the second floor. Behind the city hall is the botanical gardens where you can go hiking.

The art work on the walls is fantastic as is the tile work & stained glass windows. Walk or elevator to very top for a wonderful view of Santa Barbara.

This building has been the setting for some movies, "Chinatown" being one. The lovely marble inside and the detailed carvings outside the building show its history. A few years ago I went on a ghost tour that included this building. Spooky!

Beautiful architecture in this building, which is rich with history! Lovely works of art, lining the hallways. Employees were friendly and eager to share information about the City Hall. A local man couldn't stop telling us ghost stories about "his city". The 24 faces are...More

Lining the halls of this classic city hall are works of various local artists. A wide variety of artistic styles and mediums are on display. A great place to admire art. Lots of parking, and it is, of course, free!
