We loved our three-hour round-trip tour to Anacapa. Didn't get to see a whale, but saw other wildlife and loved the rock formations around the island. The boat had a great crew providing historical and interesting information. We sat on the upper deck which was great, but if you like less motion, sit on the lower deck up front. Beautiful... More

This was hands down the best part of our trip. We took the boat our to Santa Rosa Island and arrived around 10 am to the island. The trip there was great-I didn't get sea sick (the crew is very sensitive to this and has items on hand for you-bring your own Dramamine, though), saw 100s of dolphins, and all... More

Took the Wildlife Cruise out of Ventura and saw thousands of dolphins. Very cool that they swim right up next to the boat. Recommend sitting on the bottom level and moving to the front of the boat if dolphins are seen. We did not see any whales (not the season) but did see some seals on the rocks from afar.... More

We took island packers ferry and nature conservancy hike and found it a great day. The ferrys were clean, service was great. Safety items, briefings, etc were all done well with great number of onferry staff to allow kids to have a great time. Co-captain Matt took great care of my wife who's prone to seasickness but has zero this... More

A great time. The island is a must see. A great boat ride out which is about 1 hour. We saw dolphins and the captain slowed down to show everyone. The staff was great and helpful. Amazing views from the island. A definite must see.

Booked a day trip to Santa Cruz Island just a day or so in advance. Online reservation was a piece of cake and confirmation materials clearly explained where to be, when, and what to expect. Left on time and was thrilled with the wildlife viewing on the trip to Santa Cruz. With the guidance of the crew we spotted a... More

Everything was great. I took a 3 hour tour to Anacapa Island and we had a wonderful time. The service was great, the boat is fast and safe and we had a blast of dolphins surrounding the vessel. It was great. The tour guide the captain and the crew were awesome!

Island packers is not cheap, but they are competent. I feel like I was safe during the trip. The people's main job is to get us there safely and back and they seem to do that well. There is some but not a lot of "tour guide" announcements and the boats are not comfortable. They are adequate transportation for the... More

Traveled with Island Packers to Santa Cruz Island at end of August for a day of hiking. The crew is great! They made the trip very enjoyable, pointing out the local sea life, some history of the islands,a nd other points of interest. Really efficient , and focused about shuttling us to shore in an orderly and quick manner with... More

I hitched a ride with Island Packers to Santa Cruz Island in the Channel Islands National Park for a day of hiking. Island Packers is really the only way to get to the island for the casual visitor. But the whole deal was easy and efficient, from finding information on their website, on-line reservations, check-in, and all the details of... More
