It was a dark and stormy--no, it was a cold and rainy day, but our daughter had taken the day off of work and we were going to get out and walk with her and her dog. The Big Dam Bridge is a wonderful creation for those who like to walk, run or bike, and is part of the Arkansas... More

The bridge on its own is a marvel, almost a mile long. We go here often to walk with our hound, there are so many trails all around the bridge. On a hot day the bridge always has a breeze, it is a good place to spend an hour or so.

An interesting story accompanies the bridge. Take a walk across the whole bridge and enjoy seeing Little Rock from a different vantage point.

I live close to the bridge and love it for my walks after work! It has nice inclines on both sides so I get a little bit better work out. The views are awesome and sometimes I get to watch the barges entering the damn which is really neat. There are always friendly folks walking and cycling over the bridge.

I walk the bridge for exercise and it's all great unless a pet owner does not pick up dog poo. It's pretty clear the city comes through regularly, but sometimes the dog comes after the crew has been by. Instead of walking head high greeting others I have to watch my step. Pleas don't think I'm sad when I walk... More

We stopped in to this park on our way through to let our children stretch their legs and get some fresh air. All 6 of us (two grandparents, my wife and I, our boys - 2 and 6) enjoyed the park and the walk over the bridge. The view is neat and the park was clean and well cared for.... More

I took a sunset stroll across the bridge and had the added bonus of watching a barge lock through. As a single solo traveling female, I felt safe to be in this park area. Several people spoke to me and we're quite friendly as we watched the setting sun. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Little Rock.

A short, pretty drive from downtown along the river. The pedestrian bridge is nearly a mile walk across the river. Good view of the dam and lock from the 90 foot high bridge. Nice and quiet since it is a pedestrian bridge without an adjacent road.

Loved walking over the river with spouse, grandkids and even took our out of town visitors to this unique location.

The Big Dam Bridge is a nice place to take the kids for a walk or bicycle trip. Or you can go it alone with your spouse or friend. I have never seen a barge go through, but maybe one day I will. Nice views of the river and lots of friendly people.
