We stopped in to this park on our way through to let our children stretch their legs and get some fresh air. All 6 of us (two grandparents, my wife and I, our boys - 2 and 6) enjoyed the park and the walk over the bridge. The view is neat and the park was clean and well cared for.... More

I took a sunset stroll across the bridge and had the added bonus of watching a barge lock through. As a single solo traveling female, I felt safe to be in this park area. Several people spoke to me and we're quite friendly as we watched the setting sun. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Little Rock.

A short, pretty drive from downtown along the river. The pedestrian bridge is nearly a mile walk across the river. Good view of the dam and lock from the 90 foot high bridge. Nice and quiet since it is a pedestrian bridge without an adjacent road.

Loved walking over the river with spouse, grandkids and even took our out of town visitors to this unique location.

The Big Dam Bridge is a nice place to take the kids for a walk or bicycle trip. Or you can go it alone with your spouse or friend. I have never seen a barge go through, but maybe one day I will. Nice views of the river and lots of friendly people.

Great to view during a 15 mile bike loop from center of city. Some exertion required. Pretty views of the river and dam

My favorite outdoor place to go for a quick run. The bridge connects the river trail, also a popular place for bike riders.

Loved watching the barge go between the two parts of the river. And, great exercise walk without being strenuous.

Who doesn't love to say the saw the largest "insert thing here" in the world while on a family road trip? This is the largest pedestrian bridge. This wasn't a fancy tour. It was a self guided walk across a very large bridge which was just a very cool experience for it's simplicity of a family walk on a very... More

Perhaps the best thing there is about the bridge is the name - I mean, come on - "Big Dam Bridge"? How can you not love that? As to the place itself, it's okay. It's pretty big. It's a dam. It's a bridge. Thus, the name is fairly accurate. You can park at the base (at least on one side,... More
