This is the newest museum in the Little Rock area! It is a museum of African American history and is a member of the Department of Arkansas Heritage. It has such awesome stories to tell and I think you should def include it on your list of things to do in Little Rock.

A must see of old black history, also be sure to walk down to the Arkansas Flag and Banner and take a tour of Dreamland Ballroom, Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington and many famous groups performed there, a superb place to see.

We enjoyed seeing this Arkansas Black history museum. The exhibits ranged from the early 1800s to the present and included famous Arkansans, like Maya Angelou, doctors, comedians, sports figures and politicians. The exterior and interior architecture is beautiful.
