This beautiful National Monument really resembles Bryce Canyon National Park in color and rock formations. It has colorful hoodoos sitting in an equally colorful amphitheater. It is, however, much smaller and located even higher up in elevation. We went there in June and there was still snow in some shaded areas. The place wasn't overly crowded either so that was... More

We really enjoyed this experience; the views are amazing, and the little ranger program made I especially enjoyable for our kiddos! Highly recommended!

Cedar Breaks is a great place to visit if you're in cedar city. The ride up isn't too tricky, and offers a great view of Cedar City. If you have your national parks pass, you can use it to enter the cedar breaks area. There is a bathroom, information desk, an area where you can fill up fresh mountain water,... More

This natural canyon with it's variety of formations and colors never ceases to amaze. There are several different lookouts, so don't just stop at the first one.

Aside from the great view, we also enjoyed the peace and quiet. Oh, and the fresh air. The drive is very easy, and scenic.

The attraction of Cedar Breaks is the wildflower bloom. This high-altitude national monument provides a breathtaking vista to the west. Atop the 11,000 ft mountain, this area is a lovely stopover when touring the national parks of Utah. The ranger offers a night sky lecture several dates during July and Aug. The lush bloom of mountain wildflowers is one of... More

Cedar breaks is always worth the trip. Maybe overlooked when traveling highway 14 between Zion and Bryce. Have stopped here in spring summer and fall. This place never ceases to amaze.. The views and colors are different dependent on the weather, hence it looks different each time one visits. Bring a jacket for at 10,000 feet it can be on... More

This is our 2nd trip to the Annual Wildflower Festival and we love this area. The Breaks are beautiful and wildflowers never fail to impress. There are well marked and maintained trails. A fantastic way to spend some quality time outdoors.
