    Beautiful tribute
We visited the memorial fountains when we were visiting the One World Observatory and I was not sure what to expect as I had heard they were on the foot print of the twin towers, this is not the case. They are a stunning tribute to those that where lost that day the sheer scale and composition of them takes your breath away. The material the monument is made of is very tactile and you just want to rest your hands on the edge while you watch the water flowing into the abyss. The names of those that were lost are all around the monuments, it is both hard and compelling to read those names and remember. There a flags, photos and floral tributes by some and you feel you are intruding on a private moment so I did not stop to look at these. I am so glad we visited this has been so beautifully done and a fitting memorial that will be there for many many years, les we forget.

    No tours needed
Blows my mind why people would Pay for a tour here. Most of this is soef explanatory. 2 memorials with fountains in the place where the twin towers stood. 1 was working and the other was dried up and dirty. Wander around but that’s it.

We have been here several times while visiting Manhattan. We have never hired a tour guide to take us here. We always take the subway. There are several subway stops along the way that leave you near this majestic spot. If touring the museum is on your list, I suggest purchasing the tickets online. With the exception of the museum, this is obviously an opened space, very large indeed! There’s a small outdoor kiosk where they sell 911 memorabilia for the museum. Don’t forget to snap a pic of the survivor tree.

Sombre, moving, very well considered memorial
must do activity for us. well thought out, well maintained with lots of staff on hand to ensure visitors remain respectful. A good balance of remembrance for a truly awful event and reminding us that we all share the same earth. Very moving and there is a museum for anyone who wants to know more about what happened, which i guess may become more important as years pass.

    Lovely tribute
Very calm and peaceful area. Clean, well spaced and not crowded. A classy memorial that is beautifully simplistic. Definitely worth going to, the museum staff around the memorial are very friendly and able to answer questions. The survivor tree is something to look out for.

there are 2 big ponds with water continuously flowing down, and with the victims' names written on the edge, it's a peaceful place and you can do some meditation

The museum was worth every penny, full of facts, exhibits and personal memories of those involved. Far more to see and hear than I expected.
I’d advise that you buy the media tour for $10 as this talks you through the timeline of exhibits, and give yourself a good 3/4 hours if you wish to see and hear everything….take some tissues as it’s really heartbreaking in places :(

Memorial well done.. do not take selfies here please.. its a memorial, not something to post on your social page. Be reverent of those who were lost and remember how we have our freedoms in this country.

Visit the two water features to commemorate the fallen world trade center towers. Both are lovely memorials for those who lost their lives and for others to continue to remember them.
