Usually try visit the HRC when on vacation. The NYC edition is located close to Times Square and easily accessible by foot/metro etc.
We stopped in for lunch service and were happy to be seated straight away on arrival (after a bit of a cringey photo no less). Server was friendly and ensured orders were taken quickly. Didnt see a whole lot of the server after that though she did arrange to change a drink order made in error which I guess she didnt have to.
Food/menu/pricing was exactly as one might expect from a HRC. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I would have no issue recommending to others.

Every time I’m in NYC I go to Hard Rock - it’s iconic. I went in January and was absolutely appalled by the service and food. I know they were busy but it took over 20 minutes to get a drink plus nearly 1 hour to get the food. The burger was sent back as it was stone cold and wasn’t what was ordered. Fortunately the second burger was more like it. We felt like we’d been forgotten as others seemed to be getting served quicker. My friend always wanted to go and I was so excited to be able to take her. We’ll not be going again. Very very disappointed.

The place was buzzing and it took ages to be served and when we got served it was ages before we got the order and then we could have walked out without paying as we waited ages to get our bill.
Food looked good and big portions, we only called for drinks. Staff looked really busy in the main, just the odd one or two who seemed to stand chatting while people were waiting to be served.
Duane served us and was friendly but obviously run off his feet. The rating is for the wait, not for the drinks or staff who were, in the main, doing their best
If it wasn't for the person I was with collecting their glassess, I would have chosen to use elsewhere due to slow service.

Our first place to visit on landing in New York, just yards from our hotel, was Hard Rock. An iconic hotel in iconic Times Square just before year end. And the look & feel of Hard Rock did not disappoint. BUT the customer service did disappoint big time.
My wife’s surf and turf burger turned up cold. We immediately alerted the nearby waitress who acknowledged but then proceeded to do nothing. We weren’t her cover, no tip potential and so she was clearly not interested in us. We alerted her again but still nothing.
20 minutes later I had eaten mine. We caught the attention of another waiter and asked to see the manager. He came over, apologised and then suggested which course we would get free. We weren’t interested - harm done, customer disappointed and reputation damaged. We are now looking at cancelling our next holiday at a Hard Rock Hotel in Asia.

Came to the Hard Rock for my birthday. We were still eating our starter when the mains arrived. Shortly after waiter asked us if we would like another drink or dessert. I chose a cocktail and was then presented with the bill which we had not yet asked for. Felt like we were being rushed in and out and could not fully enjoy. A disappointing experience for the Hard Rock.

A disappointing visit to the Hard Rock Cafe New York. This was our 8th Hard Rock Cafe in the U.S. and we did our usual thing of not reserving a table and asking to be sat at the bar. We’ve found at the many other Hard Rocks we’ve visited that this helps get you faster service, a better view of all the comings and goings with access to the same full menu.
Service was indeed super fast and our food - classic nachos with chicken, to share - arrived within 10 minutes. The bartender, however, was a bit of a grump. Maybe it was a New York thing?!
We ordered two Blue Moons at a reasonable $9 each. We were surprised though to see a member of staff take a crate of 12 oz bottles out the refrigerator and open them at the back of the bar out of sight. Our drinks were served in the regular 16 oz glasses with a noticeable gap at the top of the glass. The beer pumps were all on full display and there were no signs to say that draft beers were off. What a con!
Consequently we decided to not order any more drinks, finished our tasty food and headed off to a nearby Irish bar where they served real draft beers.
WHAT IT COST
🥗 Nacho chicken = $25.99
🍻 Blue Moon x 2 = $18.00
😢 Tax = $3.91
💰 Total = $47.90
We left $55.00, being a $7.00 gratuity to reflect the poor service.

Three of us stopped in for dinner on Sunday.
We were told it would be 15-20 minutes. We found a place to sit and waited.
When our buzzer went off, we headed to the host station. We were asked to step over and wait some more. Another guy came and handed us guitars and made us pose for a cheesy picture.
We finally were taken to our table where we sat for maybe ten minutes before someone came by and asked us to change tables because we had been ”seated at the
wrong table.”
They moved us to another table where we waited a very long time before seeing a server. We ordered immediately, and away she went.
A while later, 2 of our three meals were brought to the table. We waited quite a while before finding anyone who could help. We asked for the third meal, and again we waited.
When they finally brought the third meal, the chicken was tough and dry.
As we were paying the tab, guess what? Someone arrived with a duplicate third meal.
The only reason I gave two stars was because the burgers were pretty good. Zero stars for the experience.

Our first visit to NYC...we opted an evening meal at the Hard Rock the first evening...after a long day we wanted comfort food! Our drinks took a while to get to us but enjoyable meal as always. Then we opted to go back for my birthday breakfast - a buffet breakfast all you could eat. Great both times, cant wait to come back!

Ticking HRC's off as we travel the world is "our thing", so this was a must and we were particularly excited about it being in Times Square. We decided to go for my "big" birthday and were unfortunately, very disappointed. I was expecting seeing as it's American, to be exceptional service, but this was sadly, the worst HRC we've been to. The staff were short tempered, got our order wrong (gave it to the table next door, who started tucking into it!) and the general atmosphere (particularly for my birthday!) was very flat. Definitely can't recommend, which is a real shame, as we normally LOVE HRC.

SHOCKING !!
Booked to have dinner here on Christmas Day and really looking forward to it but the food was stone cold therefore having to re cook mine again meaning i couldn't eat with the rest of my family :(
When it eventually came out the burger wasn't cooked to how i asked and left most of it , it was tasteless and horrible !
No atmosphere and to top it of for 5 meals and 5 drinks the Bill came to $124 and they wanted a a 20% tip on top ... yeah , good luck with that one !!
Will never return again !!

We went on a Tuesday evening at around 9.30 and although the restaurant was busy we were seated within 10 mins.. We had a table for two.
