    High Expectations Delivered!
We took my 10 year old daughter to see Aladdin. She played Omar in her school play this year so expectations were high. This show delivered! Excellent performance and huge shout out to genie!

Cast, music, and set are amazing! A show for all ages!
Mezzanine seats were fantastic! Talented cast and we were mesmerized by the set! Really enjoyed the humour throughout. Took my 16 yr. Old daughter..it was her choice! She enjoyed it. Audience was diverse and if all ages. Many younger children, but also couples and youth.

    A Musical night
You can never go wrong with Aladdin. I have seen the show and UK, and I have enjoyed as much herr in NY city. The cast was good and they gave a fantastic performance. We sang along the songs and we really had fun. It is a must see

    Guard was rude
The theater is beautiful. It's a small place very tight. I took my grandson who had seen the movie many times. It was very different. Just ok very colorful. We did like it. One security guard outside was was very rude yelling . This is a children's show have some decency. Tickets are pricey.

    Arabian night in NYC
A show on Broadway itself is such a thing to say youve done but when you get this magnificent spectacle as this it is fantastic. Theater is brilliant very welcoming....the concessions however are way way way overpriced and selection is poor. However, the show itself Aladdin was brilliant the costumes, big numbers, performer's all deliver.

    Great Broadway Show
This is such an AMAZING Broadway show! It's a classic Disney story that both adults and children will love. The show had several classic songs and they also added a few new ones which were really good. The costume designs were stunning, colorful and unique. The way they did their costume changes were also so fun! The sets are so artistic and the way they move through different scenes in the play was flawless. The best part of the show was genie's character, he made the show. I felt the chemistry between the 2 leads was a little off in the beginning but by the end it felt like they were more in sync. This was an epic broadway show and I would highly recommend it for anyone who is interested.

For everyone who values freedom and liberty the most.
This musical show is amazing! The cast (as of March 2024 at New Amsterdam Theater) is fabulous and they perform like a dream, with great assistance of music and sets. Genie (Scott) and Aladdin (Maliakel) are great combination, together with Jafar (Hart) and Iago (Rivera) and Jasmine (Balsara), it’s almost perfect (like Mary Poppins). So many gimmicks (of course, it’s Genei!) and so many exotic atmospheres and so many beautiful dances make the performance so enjoyable from age 10 to 100 (maybe more). This is my second time to watch the show (another one was in Japanese, in Tokyo, by Shiki, which I also had a great time). The theme is simple yet universal, and it tells how friendship, freedom and liberty are important, above the law which is made by a man but the earlier ones are created by something divine, or much more important. Very entertaining yet thought provoking. Highly recommended.

Great show. Recommended, especially the Genie part.
Entertaining and recommended. I thought any number the Genie showed up, were really good and entertaining. I didn’t much like Aladdin or Princess singing too much. Good for kids… they will enjoy especially if they’d seen the movie. Buy ticket at the venue, will save digital fees (go walk over there the day or couple days before your preferred dates.. and research online first what seats are availabe, same ones are there as online at the venue)… Recommended

I hate leaving a poor review for such hardworking artists, but sadly we did not enjoy the show. The costumes and stage craft were astounding. I literally gasped at the beauty of some of the sets and the voices of the actors was great, really beautiful. However very disappointing things were 1) it was geared more for children, so a little boring for adults who believed they were going to see something truly appealing to all-ages, 2) the constant stream of late comers being seated and blocking the view of the stage got old fast, I nearly went and asked for our money back. During the first act alone there must have been 30 people being led to their seats by flashlight-toting ushers, it was distracting and blocked our view again and again (we were seated on an aisle on the mezzanine). I get that they can't control people showing up late, but there did not appear to be any attempt to pace them out. 3) the theater seats hundreds of people but they have only one tiny room for concessions with only 1 poor woman serving the drinks and food while manning the till. The line snaked out the door and most did not get served. 4) Finally, it was just so painful to sit in those old-style cramped seats - my son is average height and was eating his knees and struggling to stay off his neighbors elbow. Though I can't imagine the cost of the production, sadly I didn't feel our ticket was worth the experience.

World Class show - up there with The Lion King for me. Maybe not quite as visually stunning - but brilliant. Genie stole the show for me - and never had a friend like me is the show stopper.

Just go - you wont regret it.

ALADDIN was AMAZING! Genie was great alittle too now days with his talk but he was amazing and hilarious! Jafar was great and JASMIN was off. She felt like she was starring in a whole different play. Too loud in the duets and her whole demaneer was off it was kind of sad. They need someone who matches aladdin better because it made it awkward they didn't perform well together she didn't do well with anyone. Yes she can sing but it takes way more then that to star in broadway. Jasmin was a misfit in this show and that was super disappointing. Other then that Jafar was great and omg his sidekick was so funny! Sultan was perfect too! The friends and backup dancers were great! NEXT time I hope to see a better Jasmin! If we do🙏 all in all magical for kids.
