Very authentic Jazz Club , great vibe, great location in the heart of the Village, always a good crowd and lots of artists hanging around. Small, cozy place with several performances per night and late night jam sessions! Don't miss!!

The band was absolutely fantastic, but the experience was totally shadowed by the terrible environment and service. Uncomfortable and tight seats, no vision to the band, limited drink and food service, and they kick you out after the show ends to receive the next round...More

Great music, cool basement venue, good acoustics. They have replaced lounge tables with benches to accommodate more audience members. Cover is for 1 set about 1 hr. I was left wanting more but would have had to pay the cover again for 4.

An amzing place to catch up on some Jazz Bands playing live. Only jazz, no distractions. If you have had dinner or can wait an hour or so for it, head to Small's and get immersed in some awesome up-close jazz experience.

Went Saturday night and was not pleased. No piano players, no more jam sessions, just a jazz trio that was only average at best. And when they say it's 4 PM to 7 PM, it's not. It starts at 4:30 so if you get there...More

While strolling through Greenwich Village on a Sunday afternoon, stop at Small's for a two hour session of contemporary jazz in a small and intimate environment. The musicians were all excellent with some surprises- A lively older man did a tap dance to the music....More

I love this place, a small jazz club with good music, good drink and nice people. If you like jazz you will love the atmosphere.

Friends recommended we visit Smalls Jazz Club in the Greenwich Village precinct while in New York. Did so on a Monday night after the Comedy Cellar and it was full at 10pm. Small venue in a cellar with $20 cover charge per head. Initially packed...More

A popular very good club. Not big, take around 60 persons. Be there at 07:00 pm even if they open 07:30. Just bar, no food. Can really recommend

The perfect place for Jazz in NYC. Buying a ticket here you can also have access to Mezzrow Jazz Club (one block away). If Smalls is full try Mezzrow first and then come back to Smalls. It is worth waiting.

Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted

this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You

Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to

I'd get there a half hour before to ensure your place in line.. first come, first serve. They have shows back to back so the previous one will get out and then you will be let in. Assuming the previous show is full and some... More
