This is a great area to explore as it is full of historical sites. Get a tourist map and walk the area. There is a hidden treasure around every corner. Start early in the morning to beat the tourist rush.

If you are in New YORK you can walk around this area.The area has the 9 11 memorial and the boat yard close by.

Visiting the 9/11 Museum should be high on anyone's list that is traveling to NYC. The Freedom Tower is next door and the reflecting pools are right outside of the museum. Wall Street is only a few minutes away. Battery Park is also close by...More

You get a really spectacular view of this iconic skyline from the Staten Island Ferry. It takes about an hour round trip, but it's worth it. Also, it's free so you're not out anything but time.

It really depends on what you like. like the places a little off the beaten path. Try the Dead Rabbit Grog & Grocery, don't let the name fool you, its a solid and fun place

Lower Manhattan, there are many trains that goes to the lower Manhattan. If you take A,E,N 4, 5, 6 trains stop at the Brooklyn bridge, from there you can walk to the World center to see the new Towers and to mention the... More
