Neighbourhood: Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighbourhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.

A full pub, England Uruguay world cup match and Brooklyner Weisse, it cannot get better! Over 30 on the tap ales, a wonderful and knowledgeable host, brilliant beer and brilliant atmosphere. It is amongst the best pubs we have been to, period.

Blind Tiger is rated one of the best craft beer bars in the nation and I can see why. About 30 incredible beers on tap from Artisan Ales, Stone, Firestone Walker, and more. Plus a knowledgeable staff and warm cozy environment.

Popped in to meet friends for a beer before heading to dinner.

What a great selection they have on tap! Just check out the chalkboards for the current line-up.

It gets pretty full in here, so you'll want to be sure to get noticed at the bar. Have your cash in hand, and be prepared to forego a seat, unless you get a stool or two along the wall.

Not a great spot for conversation, as the music was rather loud, but definitely a good vibe with a varied crowd. I don't think anyone would feel out of place here.

Given the things I had read about this place I thought it would be a great place to sample some US craft beers. I was wrong.

Yes they have a lot of beers but the ones I tried were of poor quality. More irksome was the stipulation that we could only occupy a table if we were eating. We did eat but the food was also mediocre.

All in all very unsatisfactory.

Visited twice and they have a great selection of beers.
Comfortable and relaxing service - ladies serving super friendly.
Food seemed ok but didn’t try it.
All good and we will be back !

We finally made it here after all the tourist stuff in NYC. Great beer menu on a corner spot the looks great on the inside. High tables and plenty of bar seating. Bar food menu is good too. Try the Chile verde chicken! Will probably hit this spot again before the flight home and after try John's on Bleeker pizzeria!

We visited here with our two daughters 10 and 7.

Very welcoming, set in the cool west village location.

A small pub set in the cool streets of west village selling the most amazing craft beers! If you like stout this is the place to be. Coconut, raspberry and Bourbon barrel flavoured stout amongst rich flavoured IPA are just some of the delights!

Nibbles are great too. West village is the place to be in NYC.

Great bar. Spent 6 hours here one afternoon and then had to get a taxi home. Really friendly staff, great locals, great music and 28 draft beers that had pretty much all changed 2 days later when I felt able to come back. Highly recommended.

I am I’m in New York City, I have to visit the blind Tiger. There is always something absolutely spectacular on tap, and normally multiple other Libations to tempt the pallet.

I’ve been here before and enjoyed other half, finback, treehouse, Cantillon, 3 Fontaine, the list goes on and on. This place is just the epitome of awesome craft beer, and a true favorite of mine.

Popped in for a drink and ended up staying for the rest of the day. The roaring log fire was really inviting on a freezing cold day. There is a massive selection of craft beers and cider on draught (approx 30). Food and service also good. The place was packed from early afternoon, so clearly popular with locals and those finishing work too. Feels like an English ale house. Worth a visit!
