I've read and heard so much about Zabar's and have always wanted to eat there, yesterday I did and my dissapointment is immence. While the store portion of the business is amazing the dining is so-so at best. I ordered a bagel and lox and...More

I kept this drugstore in my heart as the synonymous of quality, variety and customer focus, all at a premium price I was glad to pay. Certainly, when someone wakes up on Saturday morning and is willing to take a ride all the way up...More

Near the northwest side of Central Park (~ 10 mins walk), we stopped by for a quick lunch. We got 2 sandwiches & matzo ball soups--all delicious. Afterwards went next door to browse & shop the store. Lots of great kitchenware & deli items. Bought...More

Upper West Side market and deli chock full of upscale foods with Jewish and international emphasis. Just about any food you associate with New York City is available here. And more.

We always come here when in nyc and it never disappoints. Love the bagel with lox and good coffee. Not a lot of seating but it always seems to work out. Love to stop at the deli next door. Great selection!

Whilst a store - Zabars has a great reputation for its variety of stock. It's almost like a sightseeing location. We loved looking at the range of goods from cheeses to cooked meats. A real authentic New York experience.

What can one say about perfection? I could and do spend hours here when I am in NYC and when I lived there years ago. From the amazing choice of foods from around the world, the appetizing without equal, the breads, cake, dairy, cheeses, candy,...More

Came here following recommendations and good reviews. Was a 20 min walk from subway but thought it would be worth it! There was a huge choice; was just looking for ready made salads/bagels to take into the park for family. 2 of us had falafel...More

This was lunch stop for our bus on the TCM Classic Film Tour (recommend). We just had coffee and cheese danish, but they were very good. Would have liked to have had more time to explore all of their shops.
