Stayed in the city for a couple of nights and my sister and her husband came in for a couple of days as well. She said she wanted to go to one of her favorite places...Terra Blues. So I made a reservation and we showed up at about 8 P.M. The club is quite small and it gets really tight... More

This place seems like it could be amazing... Great drinks menu, friendly staff, performers (Michael Powers and Larry the Lip) were super nice - we were early and spoke with them before the bar opened for a bit. We had reservations for 730 and were seated at a table near the back of the room - Completely okay as they... More

The States brought Blues music to the World and some places keep it alive, in warm clubs where performers kill it. Terra Blues is one of those places. In a friendly atmosphere, be prepared for electric Blues at its finest, in the most exhilarating city in the world.

I would definitely remember my time at Terra Blues. It is one of the greatest blues places in Manhattan for sure. Warm atmosphere, great drink selection and very helpful stuff. I forgot my cardigan there and returned to Terra Blues week after and they were still having it. Thank you for an amazing time!

We went to Terra Blues on Saturday 3rd December. The warm up band The Bobby Radcliff Trio were really good and the leading act, the Saron Crenshaw Band were just brilliant. Amazing guitar playing and a great sound. If you like blues it's well worth a visit. We were sitting right next to the stage and we were comfortable with... More

It is a great intimate place! 10$ cover for great music and ambience. We went on a sunday and it was really good, stayed there until 1:00am. There is no food served only peanuts which we didn't mind at all. In fact it is better this way in order to disturb less and enjoy more the place.

This is one of the best places to hang in NYC. Not just for the great music but for the entire ambiance. It has a certain intimacy about it that gets you so close to the music. And the music is of the highest professional levels..... REALLY! Awesome staff, great service and a minimal cover for some of the best... More

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighbourhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
