Saw Misty Copeland in The Golden Cockerel. Plot was a Russian fairytale that I wasn't familiar with. Great scenic and costume design - very playful like a cross between folkloric decoration and an Henri Rousseau painting. The company, excellent as always, and Misty - charismatic...More

I saw Misty Copeland dance the lead in Don Quixote at the Met in NYC. The audience plays a game in New York I like to call who can start a round of applause and how often. Clapping would start after the dancers, not just...More

We recently saw "Swan Lake" at the ABT and it was incredibly well done. The principals were exceptional, and the orchestra was magnificent. We were in one of the upper balconies and could see everything perfectly well. Don't miss this amazing gem in NYC if...More

A new performance that was cute but should have waited to release xmas time. Story line a bit confusing but overall a cute production.

This was my first time attending a performance of the ABT. Misty Copeland and Herman Cornejo in Swan Lake. I was mesmerized, Misty is an exquisite Odette.

The last four weeks of the season will showcase the best and the breadth of ABT. This week is Swan Lake with a varied set of casts, each unique in its own way. The most exquisite ballet in the classical sense. Then Eugene Onegin: wonderful...More

I'm sure this will sound ignorant to anyone that regularly attends the ballet, but I had no idea the performance would stop regularly so that the dancers could take bows. To say I rarely go to the ballet is generous. I went last year in...More

Enjoyed the show. Seen some great ballet and entertainment. Even if you're not a fan of ballet, like I was... give it a try. You'll be pleasantly surprised. Beautifull theater and people still make an effort to look elegant.

Full of operatic and ballet history, if you're a fan of either, the Met is top quality. Saw Giselle and the entire experience was superb. As I understand it, they also offer free rehearsal showings. The best seats, for ballet, would be midway back from...More

You can visit the gift shop on the first floor at the right entrance to the Metropolitan Opera house. It's fabulous. There are also group tours of the Opera house, home of ABT.
