This place is awesome, as I was really looking forward to checking out a show here. I think the almost cult like following and policies regarding entrance, viewing and exit etc are a bit ...? but certainly add to this places mystique. Although I do...More

I've been here 3 times and it has been great each time. Make sure to buy tickets in advance as the stand-by line can get long and you'll miss the show you want.

We just saw 6 super funny comics. This is a must do for a person with an open mind. I have never laughed so hard. Great time for $ 80 (2 people ... tix and 2 drinks). Go if you love stand up comedy!

We've gone to a couple of improv shows and they were ok but this was awesome. We saw a handful of comics and they were all super funny - I really did laugh the whole night. There is a two item minimum. Definitely go here...More

OK, so, you get packed in like sardines and therefore the seating is a bit uncomfortable but the comedy more than makes up for it. Drinks and food were pretty ok as well, call things considered. Well worth a visit but be prepared to be...More

This place is smallish and they do cram you into tables with strangers, but the vibe is so cool, and the comedians are great. I recently attended a show headlined by Judah Friedlander and featuring Ted Alexandro and John Fisch (who is hilarious) and had...More

I first went here over 30 years ago. Went back with some friends and it was horrible. You stand in a line outside as people solicit donations with the Club's approval. Then they jam you into a table that isn't big enough for a kid....More

For an admission price of only $15 cover, plus two drinks this is a great place to start your night out. The show we saw lasted over an hour with 5 stand up comedians plus the MC. And honestly, the MC had some of the...More

Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.

Is there a dress code? I'll probably be wearing shorts and trainers. If I go on a Sunday or Monday, are the drinks cheaper? I appreciate it's a 2-drink minimum but if there a mandatory 18-19-20% service charge added to your drinks bill? heard of this happening in a few comedy joints. Is it OK for a solo traveller to buy a ticket and reserve a seat/table for 1? Would really like to go here. Any helps appreciated.

Thanks mate. Yeah I get the feeling from others comments and reviews (literally hundreds of them) that this is the best and most reasonable comedy venue by quite some way.
