Our party of 4 ordered both American and Italian dishes. The focus is mainly on Italian,, however. The foods were fresh, hot, and tasty. The atmosphere is casual, the ambiance friendly.

No clue what we were getting ourselves into but it was recommended by a friend and they did not disappoint. Piano bar, singing wait staff. Elaine Brier was phenomenal. Highly recommended.

This used to be a great intimate venue with fantastic atmosphere. Perhaps it is their success that has brought them undone. The music is overly loud with bad quality amplification coupled with bad caliber musicians and yelling screeching singers. Add poor arrogant staff and you have a nightmare experience. In asking for the check the waitress went to clean down... More

We had a blast singing along with piano, the waitresses were such talented singers. Loved watching Laura mixing cosmos and belting out Proud Mary. Food was just ok but we went after theatre and just wanted some light food. Fun place to be.

I have been going to DTM for years, and have always loved it. I have always tipped well and have always been inebriated and sang with the piano player. This time I took L.A. friends who I hadn't taken before. They didn't understand why I wanted to cram everyone into a long crowded booth but I knew I wanted to... More

What I truly love about night-spots in Manhattan is the choice, the talent and the variety that cabaret rooms have to offer and DON'T TELL MAMA in NYC's theater district offers a combination of a Piano-Bar, Dining, and a delightful cabaret room. Liz Robertson - perhaps not a household name in the US - but a performer and actress certainly... More

Sixteen of my relatives had a wonderful meal with wine, great food and a wonderful staff who took great care of us. The service was outstanding when all of our meals arrived at the same time and were very hot. The food was excellent as well. I highly recommend this find.

Interesting place with an interesting staff. Piano bar where the staff also sings. They take requests and you can get up and sing - with a piano accompanist. Not Karaoke!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
