Not only did I fly in from Milwaukee to see NIN at PanoramaNYC but it took place at Randall's Island and it was perfect. Loved the subway to 125th and the not so short walk over the bridge to the island but it's a perfect...More

Great location for the Gov's Ball! We took the ferry there which was really a lovely way to arrive. All of the staff and vendors were friendly and we felt safe throughout our visit. Lines for food were sometimes really long - perhaps more vendors...More

We took a walk in the park today. Nice outdoor space, easily reached from uptown Manhattan on foot. Many people walking, running, and biking. Nice to see so many people out on a (finally) sunny day.

Randall's Island park is a fairly large land mass sandwiched between East Harlem, Queens and the Bronx. It is technically two conjoined islands: Randall's and Ward's Islands, and offers panoramic views of the Upper East Side and Liberty Park is Queens. You can access the...More

At all cost stay away. A filthy park with garbage and broken glass galore. With in adequate parking. Nothing redeeming about this park surrounded by sewage they call the East River. I am from NY and would rather drive to NJ for a park long...More

I may be biased, because I'm from an area in Northern NJ which is pretty rural and has a number of hiking areas and parks, but I will try to base my review on a city park. My husband and I went here to see...More

We have been to many Cirque shows and this was among our favorites. This show has something for everyone and is good for all ages. Randall's Island is easy to get too and it did not take long to get out of the parking lot...More

It's always been a great location for Cirque du Soleil, not so sure however during NYC colder weather; In the past you could arrive via ferry (which is so much faster); only transportation was via a shuttle bus which had to compete with everyone who...More

I have been to Randall's twice already to see Cirque du Soleil. It is a great location; to NYC, The Bronx and Queens. There is plenty of room for the Cirque tents and parking. I am looking forward to going to Randall's Island again some...More

Hard to get to from Manhattan and Queens, this is a beautiful oasis developed by Robert Moses. I was here in May as part of local walking tour and enjoyed the views and experience of just walking from one end to the other.

There aren't any hotels immediately near the island. Look for hotels around 96th or 86th Streets with cross streets at 1st, 2nd, 3rd or Lex Ave if you want something within walking distance. Otherwise look for something... More
