Mary Poppins is a great show for all ages; especially for families with younger children who want to "try" a Broadway show and feel that everyone gets their moneys worth. The tap dancing is extraordinary!

There were 4 of us in the group (all over 40), we managed to get tickets for this show on the broadway.com website for 40% saving; we were not sure what to expect - stunning. The theatre, the set, the cast and show were all amazing. We were only in NYC for 5 nights and had a busy schedule so... More

Gosh.. I wish I had a better description for what I witnessed.. The theater is just stunning to look at. and The cast and crew of the show were phenomenal. I may be biased because it was my favorite childhood movie... but the entire theater was clapping to the songs, laughing... singing along.. It was a wonderful experience.

The show is outstading in every respect. The stage props and special effects are probably more impressive than Lion King and that was excellent. The cast was impressive in every respect. This is a fun, professional performance.

We saw Mary Poppins in this venue. The theatre is 109 years old and is Art Deco. One of the most beautiful venues i have ever seen. The performance was wonderful. The theatre is not too big, so it feels intimate.

The interior is beautifull!! Climb up to the balconies to get good pictures of the whole theatre. Mary Poppins was awesome - be sure to get tickets in the front orchestra rows for the special event at the end of the show :)

We loved this musical, my son grown up with this story and how many times we have seen the video but the real act is also amazing. Only problem is that we purchased the seats in balcony and the leg space is so little that made us uncomfortable, but we managed to strech out the legs during the inter-time. A... More

Well, much like anything DISNEY does, it was first class. Upon my first trip here, a cast member (this what Disney calls all their employees) saw me in awe of the architecture. WHAT a beautiful place!! She told me that Disney purchased the dilapidated theater and restored everything it could salvage to its original glory! What couldn't be restored, was... More

We have taken my 5 year old grandson to Broadway the past two summers. Last Summer it was "The Lion King", this Summer, "Mary Poppins". He was mesmerized by Lion King, not so much by Mary Poppins. It is definitely darker and more complex for a child to understand. I am not saying he didn't like it, he did, and... More

This was our first Broadway experience so I cannot compare theatre to theatre. However, the decor was beautiful here. Also, our seats were amazing. A big plus for us was the booster cushions they have available for small children. This perk allowed my little one to view the stage with and unobstructed view. She was so excited to be able... Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
