Trocaderos put on an amazing show!!!

My daughters have followed ballet for years and have always wanted to see the Trocaderos. While it may seem odd at first that the ballerinas are all male, there are times when... read more

The awesome part of visiting NYC is that there is always live entertainment - theater, music, dance. The Joyce Theater specializes in dance and has interesting groups, many of whom are not superstars. That means you will see a mix of excellent and mediocre work, sometimes edgy, sometimes low budget, sometimes brilliant. Resident dance lovers should buy seasonal subscription to... More

I frequently go to the Joyce Theatre. It is a great small venue with lots of great shows. Most recently saw the ballet Trocadero but over the years have seen many other shows: Pilobolus, Momix, ... and their $20 value tickets can't be beat

My daughters have followed ballet for years and have always wanted to see the Trocaderos. While it may seem odd at first that the ballerinas are all male, there are times when they are so amazingly talented that you forget they are men. Although it is so amusing, actually hilarious to see how huge these men are and how much... More

I've wanted to visit Joyce for a long time; I managed to get a ticket for Bill T Jones and Arnie Zane for just $20 which is fab value, and the ticket office staff member was so very helpful in describing the theatre and working with me to plan how to get from there to my next appointment. When I... More

For dance that will delight your senses, this venue has it all. We saw Rioult last evening and loved every minute of the modern dances performed. Other troupes gather here to perform. Check the listings, go and enjoy.

The Joyce brings in top (mostly contemporary) dance companies at top form. The venue is perfect for viewing dance (intimate) yet big enough to allow for some expansive choreography. Their sound system desperately needs to be improved though as the music is always too loud and distorted.

If you don't know the Joyce Theater, you don't know dance in New York City. Many of the world's finest companies perform here, including the brilliant Ballet Hispanico.

This theater is one of my favorite places for the arts in New York City. I expect and experience wonderful performances. Tonight, it was Ballet Hispanico with very talented dancers.

Fantastic little theatre, every seat is a great one! We watched Martha graham company and of course it was outstanding. We were seated along the side but the view was still great, loved the experience and the size of the theatre was perfect for a lunchtime outing with the family.

Great facility, newly-renovated for optimum performance and viewing. We saw a dance troupe from South Africa perform. The show was visible from any seat so I doubt anybody was disappointed with their seat.
