Ambassador Theatre on Broadway Theatre NYC.
The theatre is like other theaters on Broadway in NYC, crowded, small seats with very little leg room, long line for bathroom before play and during intermission, however they are fairly organized and clean. . They get everyone seated on time and proper-polite behavior is encouraged and was observed by everyone present during my visit July 2nd. I enjoyed the play ( Chicago)very much.

Unfriended staff apart from drink seller
Went to see Chicago which was great. Theatre staff not friendly with man outside barking at people and staff around the place really grumpy. Very small seats with no leg room but it is an old theatre. Wine served in plastic souvenir cup very expensive, over $60 for 2

My mother and I saw the Broadway Show, “Chicago”, here.
I went to see the show, “Chicago”, with my mother. We enjoyed this show, and this area was very busy. This theater was located very close to Times Square and to Rockefeller Center. This theater had several floors, and the lines for the bathroom could get very long. The seats could have had more legroom, but they were comfortable. There were concessions and gifts to purchase as well as some ticket booths. I would encourage guests to arrive early in order to become ready for the show.

The seats did not allow us to have our feet in front of us unless we turned them inward. Knees were jammed into the seats in front of us of us. We were on the mezzanine and am not sure if the floor seats were as bad. Will never go back

Old, and small theater that host shows like Chicago is unacceptable for the price people pay
One toilet for men upstairs that cannot be sufficient for the hundreds of people wanting to go during the intermission
The stage is so small and no where to put the orchestra which prevents a show like Chicago and the dance scenes to be shown off
Very disappointing and will never go back to this theater … so much for a broadway show !

I went to this theatre with my husband to watch "Chicago" in celebration of our 10th anniversary and, even though the performance was absolutely amazing, an employee named Leonard completely ruined our night. During intermission, he came to me in na authoritarian mood, pointing and saying "You need to leave". Apparently, I was staying in a place where part of the staris was being blocked – which I completely understand. My point is that he shouldn’t be talking to me as if I was some sort of criminal. When I pointed out that, on the other side of the bar, the line of people was already completely blocking the stairs, he just replied "That's not my problem because I'm not in charge of that other area, but I'm in charge of this area and YOU have to leave". At that point, he was already raising his voice, so people started looking at us. I can't stress enough how disappointed I am in being treated this way. I have to say that I was wearing a yellow turban that night, so it was pretty obvious to everyone I was a foreigner - and I really think his reprimand was so aggressive because he saw me as a foreigner. I couldn't even get his full name. I only saw his first name was Leonard, but then he covered his badge when I tried getting his surname (and again started yelling "Why do you want my name"?). Again, people started looking at us. I felt discriminated against and humiliated. Not to mention powerless. The only thing I can do is make bad reviews on every single possible platform to advise people to think twice before going to the Ambassador – particularly if you’re a foreigner wearing ethnic clothes.

Staff were rude and unhelpful. I asked where my seat was as I couldn’t see it on the ticket.
I was grunted at and told to move to the next aisle along. I asked again what my seat row and number was and this time was shouted at to move along. No civility at all.
The show was good but the place was terrible.
Small cramped and narrow seating, no legroom.
If you’re heavy or tall- don’t come here as you won’t fit into the seats.
huge queue for small bathroom which made me miss the start of the second half of the performance and disturb the rest of the row getting back to my seat. There was no 5 or even 2 minute warning as to when the second half was starting either or I’d have abandoned my place in the bathroom queue.

An historic Broadway theatre, a must visit for the most entertaining musical Chicago, in New York, does not come without its problems. Now, the staff were friendly and helpful. The front row seats comfortable, with plenty of leg room. Drinks and snacks quick to obtain, and refillable soft drinks in a Chicago souvenir cup. Prices are however expensive, even for Broadway. The biggest gripe here is the lack of toilets. Only 1 rest room for each gender and an almighty queue for both during the interval awaits. The ladies spanning down from upper floor to stalls front. Indeed some ladies were still queuing 5 minutes into the second half. Im not sure what the answer would be here, yes it’s an old theatre, but do adults drink more fluids these days?! But the show is amazing, music and cast excellent, so as long as you save your stools in the stalls, it will be a very worthwhile visit.
