We went up to the cafe first and we're blown away by the surroundings, some great food spoilt by incredibly slow service. Then downstairs to a wonderland of sugar, bright colours and sweets in every shape and size...checkout the stairs!

There's candy, candy and more candy here ... all good! There's a restaurant upstairs thats good for a light meal, and perfect for kids. The menu includes ice cream, some amazing milkshakes, and the standard light fare (chicken nuggets, burgers, etc). This is the kind of place you return to over and over for candy souvenirs when on the upper... More

We visited for my son's 13th birthday. I made reservations, but when we arrived we were told that the kitchen had problems so the cafe couldn't make anything, but that they would do desserts - which luckily worked for us. Even though I told the hostess that it was my son's 13th birthday as well as writing it in my... More

Dylan's has many candies I've never seen before. It's a fun place to stop with the kids and pick up a treat.

Fun items, big selection--there is something for everyone. It was neat to see some throwback candies, too.

Very cute store with a large selection. The fudge is to die for - so creamy and delicious and good prices.

I expected a cleaner, more modern place. This store/ice cream parkour/diner/bar was dated and in need of a good cleaning. Store is very overpriced. Candy selection was great, ice cream was not good. Tasted old and flavorless. Didn't go to diner or bar. If you're in the area stop by, don't make a special trip.

We had a travelzoo voucher to get two paint cans that you fill with candy for $15 rather than usual $30. That deal made the visit. So much candy and so much to choose from. Was not impressed with staff who walked the floor - more concerned with looking cool than helping.

We visited through word of mouth and we are glad we did! We visited at night the first time round and shopped for sweets and very quickly came out with $50 of candy!! The cafe area was only alllowing 'to go' food which was no good considering we wanted to try their best of both worlds shakes! We revisited and... More

I made a reservation for 6:30. We arrived early and they let us come in and order. I found the place by accident and it turned out great! We ordered two cocktails and an appetizer. The cocktails came out first and they were fun! The appetizer we ordered came out and it was delicious! We will definitely be back next... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
