Neighbourhood: Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

    Brilliant experience
Great experience an really glad we went to the Knicks game which they worn !. Really iconic place and huge tickets not that cheap at £90 but seats were great and worth it for the experience. Only down side was the price of food and drinks as paid $55 for two beers and two hot dogs and then $26 for a beer and a water !

Great experience & try the ticket office as soon as you land to save extra fees.
The best place if you can't find tickets online is to visit the ticket office as soon as you arrive a few days before if you can. We saved hundreds of dollars this way although the tickets were really high up it didn't stop us enjoying the game and there are screens all the way up. They do a t-shirt throw a few times but you won't be close enough if you sit further up than the 110 etc layer of seating. Subway to Penn station the best place to get off. We didn't eat but food looked ok.

    NHL at The Garden!
First ever visit to the garden. Ideally would have liked to watch the Knicks but they were playing they day we flew in to New York. Got to watch watch the Rangers v Tampa Bay Lightning to e sell out crowd. Turned out to be a great game that had it all.. goals, victory, beer, decent food and decent fights on the ice!

Make Memories at Madison Square Garden!
NHL game for someone who is not a hockey fan but granddaughter is and loved it. Getting in and exiting was a breeze. Would love to go back for a concert. Ushers, Jumbotron, celebrities, all of it make it worth the price of tickets!

    Great Venue
Great venue to see Bruce Springsteen. Was on my bucket list to see a concert at The Garden and was made even more special that it was Bruce Springsteen. Venue acoustics were fantastic and plenty of viewing screens in venue. Only down side were the queues for the merchandising, never seen so large queues in an indoor venue. Did not wait for them for fear of missing start of show and were sold out of many items at end of show.

    The Gardens
Three visits to the worlds most famous arena in a week. 1st was the basketball NY Knicks v Indiana Pacers, then twice for the hockey. NY Rangers v Buffalo Sabres followed by Toronto Maple Leafs. That made it four visits to MSG for sporting events and the home team has lost each time. A great arena. not a bad seat in the house, easy access, not quite so easy egress. Good choice of food and drink.

    Great Venue
Recently attended for a BillyJoel concert, great venue and a great time! We paid for parking very close to the venue a day or two before. Was an awesome experience. No trouble with security getting in and the lines moved very fast. FYI.. you can take a small purse in, at our concert it didn't have to be see through like other places. Lots of places to get snacks and drinks if you need that. Seats are comfortable and the sound was amazing!

Billy Joel at Madison Square Gardens
We came from the UK to NYC and managed to get Billy Joel tickets on my 40th Birthday. Getting into the arena was a bit of disorganised chaos, but we had good seats and his performance was amazing!!! However drinks and snacks were incredibly expensive, a beer and packet of Twizzlers for $26!!! A great experience overall…

    Lionel Richie Concert was great!
I attended Madison Square Garden for a Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind, and Fire concert and it was great. I managed to get good seats near the floor and it was great. The venue is amazing. Pretty much every seat has a nice view of the stage. There are many restaurants and bars for food and drinks and everything is organized well. It was busy getting out, but, Penn station is right next to the garden so it was easy to get home back to Long Island. Overall I highly recommend seeing a concert here or a basketball or hockey game.

My life goal was finally achieved!!
I know all motivational speakers say to follow your dreams and never give up but one of my major dreams was to come to a show here but I was very broke for a long time and they have strict security so it’s very hard to break in!! I happened to be born in 2003 and then this year I turned 20 and I asked my mom to make my life dream come true and she did!! I went here last night with my dad to see Patti Smith and the National and it was very fun!! I had to go up five flights of escalators to get to my seat which shows how big the arena is and then I was in a fancy section with plexiglass!! I could see the band well and it was a vibe!! The lady who was selling the beers was nice and may have secretly known about my obsession so she gave me free lemonade!! I hopefully will be back many times in the future!!

Went and saw a NY Knicks game here. Booking smooth although stadium was sold out, security was efficient, friendly and processed attendees with care and speed. Had a cheap ticket so up the back but appreciate fit TVs to allow you to relive the great moment of basketball. Note the escalators are tuned off when game finishes to be prepared to walk down white a few flights to exit!

I had a really great time here watching the rangers. I would highly recommend this venue. I was slightly worried that I would have a bad seat as I got one of the cheap seats. Although it was high up, it was a great view. The people working there were very friendly. The only small issue was that it cost (including tip) 20 dollars for a can of cider. Overall, it was a great experience.

Without a doubt the most iconic events venue in the world & it didn’t disappoint. We were there 2c the Billy Joel concert, not only did Billy put on an amazing show but the venue just added 2 this.
From entering 2 leaving so well handled by all the staff. Yes I do agree with others that @ $17 for a can of beer is overly priced but it all added 2 the night !!

Triple header basketball - Knicks vs Pacers/Lakers, with St John’s sandwiched between. Awesome atmosphere for each with excellent views. Took the tour to cap it off and see a bit more behind the scenes. MSG is the heat of NYC.

As big hockey fans seeing New York Rangers here was incredible. Following U.K. teams this blew our minds at the state of the art facility and the atmosphere. Definitely see something here whether it be hockey or basketball for the American sport experience

Went to see Billy Joel - what a phenomenal performance and experience in a great, iconic venue. All the staff we spoke with were great. My only 'negative' observation was the overpriced alcohol. I had a can of beer at my seat .... $20. My mistake lol !

What a dream to come here. We came to see Billy Joel for his 98th show and it was truly life changing. The staff at MSG were extremely efficient and we went through security very quickly. The merch line wasn’t long which was down to the friendly staff who were running it in a well organised fashion.

Have wanted to visit Madison Square Garden for the longest time. Our visit was to watch the Christmas Day New York Knicks Basketball vs Milwaukee Bucks.
What an amazing experience. Do not hesitate to book tickets (they can be a little pricey, but the experience is so worth it) worth doing at least once in your lifetime.
You don’t have to be court side, the tickets further up are great, you can see the whole court and there are monitors for the smaller details.
The crowd interaction is something I haven’t seen before. It was such a great experience from start to finish.

It’s good to travel with family especially if you have the same interests, if you want to visit New York, you must go to 9/11 museum and met museum, go to Central Park if you love walking. Visit st. Patrick church from there you can see the Rockefeller all along you can visit a lot of places.
