I've lived in Manhattan for 27 years and somehow only just discovered this beautiful pocket park yesterday. I will go back often in the months when it is open (April-December); such a peaceful, beautiful place amid the noise of the city.

There are disappointingly few places in Manhattan south of Central Park where you can get away from the crowds and noise but this little gem is one of them. Lots of free seating and a cafe (but no facilities) and the waterfall at least reduced...More

We came especially to sit and eat lunch in this secret nice park. It's small but was worth the walk. We took some lunch from another great place (Paris Baguette) and just sat and enjoyed the waterfall sound.
