I've lived in Manhattan for 27 years and somehow only just discovered this beautiful pocket park yesterday. I will go back often in the months when it is open (April-December); such a peaceful, beautiful place amid the noise of the city.

We came especially to sit and eat lunch in this secret nice park. It's small but was worth the walk. We took some lunch from another great place (Paris Baguette) and just sat and enjoyed the waterfall sound.

A beautiful waterfall, shady trees, and bistro tables & chairs all offer a perfect, slightly breezy space for a NYC break. Perfect for meditation, chatting with friends, bag lunches, and work breaks. We visited after riding bikes in Central Park and taking out Italian sandwiches...More
